Posted on Nov 16, 2007. • 1 Answer SOURCE: My EW6708K stopped working after a power outage (was not on at the time, just plugged in). I couldn't find any info online. So I used my last option: I took it apart. Two screws on the bottom opens the unit's electronics.
Two more screws inside to get tol the circuit board. I was looking for a reset button. There was a tiny white “thing” on the circuit board. I pressed it and reassembled the unit.

I found the manual at this website: Here was the tricky part for me: The round timer dial has red tabs on the outer edge of it. They all should be pushed inward to allow continuous operation.
From the manual: Please note when you first use your heater, all the tabs are outwards. You must push in those tabs for the period that you want the heater to work.

The secondary will make it heat full on. In full on heat mode you can place a small fan blowing across the radiator from about 4 ft away and circulate the warm air. You don't have to worry too much about catching the surrounding objects on fire, but do not allow fabrics made from rayon & nylon come into contact with the surface.
No, it doesn't have a thermometer to set the room temperature, as it cannot tell when the room reaches said temperature. It can have a thermostat to tell the heater to shut off or power down to a lower setting in order to maintain a given temperature.
