Sparkadia Postcards Rarest
There's a band's album (Sparkadia - 'Postcards') I've been looking for online to buy. The album apparently wasn't released here, it was only released overseas (UK/Germany/rest of Europe/etc.) and all the copies I find online are imports that have to be shipped to the States. There is a seller on Ebay in California (with a 99% or so rating) who was selling a 'test pressing on CD-R'. He doesn't say where he found it, but on his profile he states he does not sell illegal copies, bootlegs, etc. He says everything he sells he finds in record stores and other places. So how likely is it that a test pressing for an album that's not released in the States winds up in his hands? He was selling it for about 3 bucks (not including s + h for an additional 3 bucks) while all 'real' copies are selling for no less than 10 or 15 bucks. Either way, I bought it (it was cheap, I took a chance based on his rating and description of his products, and I didn't want to wait for overseas shipping per se). Wise decision? Is this legit?
