Electronic Arts releases a new patch for Star Wars Battlefront 2, but consumers hoping to find solutions to the game's most glaring issues are out of luck. The latest patch for Star Wars Battlefront 2 has been released taking the game to v1.03. A new End of Round MVP screen has been added.

DICE has released the first patch for Star Wars Battlefront 2 following last week’s disabling of microtransactions. This patch takes the game to v0.2 and according to DICE fixes some of the issues found late in development.

The patch also focuses on stability and performance improvements and fixes such as controller input being lost on the UI, Rey’s lightsaber vanishing, the game freezing on pausing, and texture issues. A from DICE reads: As you know, we have made several changes to the game already – but this will be our first official patch.
This first patch is specifically focused on issues we found during the later stage of development, as well as addressing some critical gameplay and user interface problems across the game. We have also made major improvements to our games stability and performance across all platforms to make the gameplay experience better for everyone.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 patch v0.2 notes Gameplay • Reduced the spawn wave timer on Strike from 10 to 5 seconds. • Tweaked spawn positions on Tatooine. • Fixed an issue where the players would sometimes not be able to deploy as the AT-AT. • Fixed an issue where Rey’s lightsaber would sometimes disappear. • Fixed an issue where joining a game after getting a friend invite would trigger the incorrect camera view.
